Stan Lees Superhumans: Series 1 The creator of superheroes like Spider-Man, series co-host Stan Lee seeks out real people with remarkable physical powers that stem from being genetically different. Stan Lee's Superhumans combines today's science with stories from long-recorded history. Series host David Browning Smith, "the most flexible man in the world," adds unique understanding through his personal experience.

Host Daniel Browning Smith heads to the Caribbean to meet Patrick Musimu, who's able to dive to 656 feet on a single breath. Inspired by Stan Lee's own Aqua Man, Patrick believes there is no limit to how far he can push his ability to withstand the enormous pressures associated with such depths. Next, it's off to Brighton, England, where Miroslaw Magola claims to harnesses the power of psychokinesis, and can lift objects off the floor, transport them through the air and force them to stick to his body--all using the power of his mind. Still in the UK, Daniel heads to Devon, where it's rumored that Shaun Ellis has become wolf, by living, sleeping, bathing and feeding with a deadly pack of wolves. Finally, in Norway, Daniel meets Eskil, who can perform incredible feats of balance in the face of danger

Isao Machii is a real life modern day samurai with unbelievable sword skills. But are his eyesight, accuracy, speed truly superhuman? To find out, Daniel asks him to attempt to cut a speeding rubber bullet in mid air. In Sacramento, Daniel meets Dr. Norman Gary, who can control an entire swarm of hundreds of thousands of bees. Steve Santini of Cornwell, Canada performs incredible escapes requiring dexterity and body control in the face of death. For most humans, the danger would leave us paralyzed with fear, so what sets Steve apart? Finally, meet human crash test dummy Rusty Haight, Rusty has suffered over a 1,000 car crashes. Statistically, Rusty should be in a wheelchair. Is he invincible, or the luckiest man alive.

Daniel Browning Smith's search for real life superhumans takes him to Wisconsin to meet Tim Friede. Tim has made himself a human guinea pig, allowing some of the world's deadliest snakes to bite him and recording the results, to hopefully reduce the 20,000 deaths that are caused by snakebite annually throughout the world. Next, it's off to Birmingham, Alabama to meet Dan Meyers--the best sword swallower in the world. In London, it's an encounter of the elastic kind with Garry Stretch Turner, who claims to have the World's stretchiest skin. Finally, meet the "Rocket man," who can hit speeds of over 100 mph on his single wing flights, navigating with his eyes and steering with the movement of his body.
